“I Hit it With My Axe” Mixes D&D and T&A Starting Today
For a gamer, The Escapist is where the guy from Austrailia talks really fast and makes fun of games. Apparently, it’s more than that. It has been announced today that The Escapist will be starting a new reality show called “I Hit it With My Axe,” where porn stars play Dungeons & Dragons. It launches today, and will run for one year, once a week. In other words, we all have one more thing to do one more time a week. 2010 just got a hell of a lot better.
io9 interviewed Satine Phoenix, where she talks about their characters, why they play, and what edition of D&D they’re rocking. Here’s an excerpt:
io9: So you’ve just signed the contract for a show where porn stars will play Dungeons & Dragons. Before this news breaks the internet in half, tell us more about the show. What’s it called, and what’s the format? Who will be in it?
Satine Phoenix: “I Hit It With My Axe” is a web TV reality show that will air once a week for a year. The main cast consists of Zak S as the Dungeon Master, Mandy Morbid [pictured in middle], Kimberly Kane [pictured at bottom], Frankie, Connie and myself [pictured at top]. We have a few other people that come in and out of the game like Sasha Grey [pictured at bottom] and Justine Joli. We aren’t all porn stars though. We’re a medley of porn stars, strippers, models, a hair dresser and I am an ex-porn star/fetish model and currently an illustrator.
This sounds like it could either be absolutely awesome or incredibly dumb. The blog that started it was Playing D&D With Porn Stars, which has always been entertaining, so I have a strong feeling it’s going to be one of the best things to happen to the world in a good, long, hard while.
