Wil Wheaton Designed Shirt a Critical Hit

Last night, Woot’s twitter updated with a note that a shirt designed by geekologist Wil Wheaton was to appear on shirt.woot.com – their discount t-shirt hub. This morning I was happy to see that this claim was not only true, but it was a fantastic RPG shirt. I immediately placed my order for two, and think you might want to do the same. Titled “How We Roll,” the shirt is a perfect gift, and for $10 it’s a steal. Odds are they will sell out soon, so hit the jump for Woot’s description or head over to the site to pick one up.

Yes, while Wil Wheaton was appearing in the likes of Stand By Me and Star Trek: The Next Generation, he was also leading a double life as a bonafide die-throwing, joystick-slinging geek. All the untouchable girls in your middle-school class who had crushes on him never suspected that, behind the dreamy exterior, he was one of us all along. If they only knew…

Now, not everybody can embark on a Greyhawk campaign with Wil, or touch 8-bit gloves with him for a round of Mortal Kombat. But this shirt is the mark of your affinity, the badge of the allegiances you share, the proof that even geeks can be stars – and even stars can be geeks.

Interesting shirt. It’s obviously a little more interesting than normal because of the person that designed it. I wonder how well it will sell.
